Everett Crowley Park is Vancouver's hidden secret. It is a peaceful park that's dog friendly with a duck pond and lots of space. Every time I walk in that park it is like being in the woods with nature. It's not only nice to wander in the summer: Everett Crowley Park but with good snow boots, gloves, and a winter coat, it is nice to walk around in the winter too.
I take smaller steps in the winter because of the hidden ice but with the right shoes and on a sunny day you can still enjoy the views from Everett Crowley Park. It's important to still read the warnings on the duck pond, the ice is quite thin and not strong enough to walk on. Enjoy the views from the paths and don't forget to look up at the blue skies and tree tops. I guess it is not common for people to take pictures of tree tops, my niece thought I was taking a selfie. Nature can be enjoyed all year round. It's a winter wonderland in BC this year!
